Food Expo 2018 Brings Nearly 3,000 Visitors To Athens

Food Expo 2018, the leading food and beverage trade show in south-eastern Europe, has once again been an unrivalled success.

This year's show brought 2,930 international visitors from 74 countries to Athens, as well as 1,152 exhibitors from Greece, and 150 exhibitors from another 22 countries.

More than 15,000 scheduled B2B meetings between the trade show’s 800 hosted buyers and exhibitors were held during the three-day exhibition, helping companies to establish fruitful commercial relations and, in many cases, reach significant deals.

Exhibition Experience
Food Expo 2018 placed special emphasis on the high quality and exceptional flavours of Mediterranean products, featuring a range of exhibitors not only from Greece, but from Spain, Italy, Turkey, Cyprus, Lebanon, Israel, Egypt and many more.

Additionally, Oenotelia 2018, organised alongside Food Expo, gave wine traders the chance to discover the best Greek wines, while food traders in the hosted buyer programme had the opportunity to explore Greece with a number of sightseeing tours.
