"Korea Food Expo" will take place in Santo Domingo and Santiago
2018-11-12 From: AlMomento.net SANTO DOMINGO.- The Korean Embassy and Korean Mart announced the "Korea Food Expo" for the first time in the Dominican Republic, from November 9 to 10 at the Korean Embassy in Santo Domingo, and from November 23 to 25 in the León Center of Santiago. In a note sent to ALMOMENTO.NET it indicates that this event has been organized to promote Korean gastronomy and create business opportunities related to Korean food products. For the first day of both events, there will be a reception of Korean food for the guests (event by invitation only). He said that throughout the event the Embassy will have the following activities: Tasting and Sale with discount of Korean snacks and drinks, exhibition of edible products, samples, photos, drawings and books of gastronomy of that country. Exhibition of tourist photos, cosmetics, handicrafts, figurines and stuffed animals of Korean characters, projection of promotional videos of tourism, K-Pop, among others. Screening of a Korean film about gastronomy entitled "The Great Chef". "This event is sponsored by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs of the Republic of Korea and AT Center of Korea." KOTRA (Korean commercial office), Korean Mart and Coway will be present during the event.
