Smurfit Kappa launches new triple-head filling machine

Smurfit Kappa has launched a new high speed, triple head, automatic filling machine.

The new machine is capable of filling up to 45 3L Bag-in-Box containers per minute on its three filling valves.

Designed for industrial plants, and optimised for efficiency and speed, the machine is the latest innovation in the industry-leading BIB 700 range and has an easy-to-use touch screen and ergonomic design.

Rigorous testing revealed the best Total Package Oxygen values after filling with separate nitrogen and vacuum systems, which is an important factor for the improved shelf-life Bag-in-Box products offer, and a significant advantage for both customers and end users

The BIB 700 Triple Head includes supply, separation of bags, opening, vacuuming, filling, capping, packing and release. Smurfit Kappa Bag-in-Box is operates in 12 countries with integrated solutions in this strongly growing business.
