Mann Packing rolls out vegetable trays

Mann Packing Co. is introducing new vegetable trays just in time for Super Bowl parties.

Six new trays will be packed under Salinas, Calif.-based Mann’s Snacking Favorites brand, according to a news release:

•Veggie Ranch — carrots, celery and broccoli with ranch dip;
•Veggies 4 Kidz — carrots, celery and cheddar crackers with ranch dip;
•Cheddar Trail — carrots, celery, cheddar cheese cubes and trail mix with ranch dip;
•Veggie Hummus — carrots, celery, and broccoli with hummus;
•Organic Veggies — organic carrots, organic celery and organic broccoli served organic ranch dip;
•Cheddar Pretzel — carrots, celery, broccoli, cheddar cheese cubes and pretzels served ranch dip; and
•Honey Turkey Cheddar — carrots, broccoli, cheddar cheese cubes and honey turkey bites served with ranch dip.

In addition to the new Snacking Favorites trays, Mann also is introducing a Fiesta vegetable tray, which features a spicy medley of carrots, broccoli, celery and mini sweet peppers with jalapeno ranch and garden ranch dips.

“Snacking is more popular than ever, with 45% of consumers eating snacks as meal replacements,” Kim St. George, Mann’s director of marketing and communications, said in the release. “People are looking for options that are fresh, offer some protein to keep them satisfied and are made with high-quality ingredients.”
