Dole launches two new lines of resealable fruit piece pouches
2016-12-09 From:FoodBev Dole Packaged Foods has added two new formats to its range of packaged fruit. The Dole resealable fridge packs contain simply fruit in juice in a resealable pouch that can be put into the fridge to enjoy at any time, while the Dole frozen fruit packs are resealable bags of high-quality fruit frozen within hours of being picked. Increasing the brand’s convenience offering and helping consumers to increase their daily fruit intake, the two new products take the peeling, chopping and general mess out of the smoothie-making, home-baking, breakfast-prepping or just general snacking occasions. The fridge packs are available as Tropical Gold pineapple chunks, mixed fruit, peach slices and prunes; while the frozen packs are available as raspberries, Tropical Gold pineapple chunks, blueberries, sliced strawberries, triple berry and tropical mix. The recommended retail prices are £1.19 and £2.29 respectively. “Dole is packaging fruit the way it should be – deliciously ripe and convenient,” the brand said. “Dole products preserve the taste of freshly picked fruit, while ensuring they fit easily into the everyday lives of busy consumers. Dole brings the pleasure of ripe fruit whenever and wherever you live your life. All varieties are made from the highest quality fruit; Dole Tropical Gold pineapples are grown in the fertile soils of the Matutum volcano where they are handpicked at peak ripeness and packed within a few hours. “All products are made using the highest quality fruit.”
