The Gerber Juice Company has packaged its new Lazy Town drinks range for children in Tetra Pak cartons
The healthy drinks range features characters from the popular children’s TV show. The Lazy Town line-up comprises a three-strong natural squash range, three single-serve fruit juices, a bottled water drink and three smoothies. All the drinks are free from artificial sweeteners, flavours, colours and preservatives and are aimed at two to six-year-olds. Marnie Millard, commercial director of Gerber Juice Company, said: “We see a gap in the market for healthy drinks that actively promote kid’s health through a connection with a popular and aspirational programme like Lazy Town. “We’re very proud of this association and we’re confident that our new smoothie range will be perfect for parents who want a healthy, convenient and appealing product for their children.” ‘Widely recyclable’ Commenting on the launch, Gail Scotland, marketing manager for juice, nectars and still drinks at Tetra Pak said: “We are delighted that Gerber has chosen the Tetra Wedge Aseptic for its new Lazy Town smoothie range. “We know that children respond well to its innovative design, and it is perfectly shaped to fit inside a healthy lunch box. Like all Tetra Pak cartons, it is also widely recyclable across the UK and made primarily from renewable materials.” The packs are now available in Asda.
