Seadog Foods bags best British Street Food Award
2015-12-09 From:Retail Magazine
Beth Newsome and Jim Coslett established the street food company just two years back and trade crosswise over North Devon from a trailer, sourcing all its fish from Devon waters. Beth and Jim’s aptitude for cooking awed judges Giorgio Locatelli, Fay Ripley and Neil Rankin, who presented them with the Best of the Best award. Jim said that they were truly excited about this. He added that having Clovelly herring and Torridge oysters and mussels with them helped the duo to showcase their best North Devon seafood choices, which impressed the jury. The year, according to them was very much fruitful. Seafood had great amount of success at the North Devon Journal Food, Drink and Tourism Awards where it was given the prize for Best Food to Go. However, Jim said he didn’t hope to rehash the accomplishment, after the business failed to get an honor at the regional warms – securing a spot in the national finals because of a trump card choice.
Jim and Beth said they are presently instituting arrangements for next season and added they would have liked to have the capacity to grow the business past North Devon sooner rather than later.
