2019-12-13

From:Packaging News

Codex has recently invested in excess of £2m into the business, putting in place the infrastructure to embrace a comprehensive range of co-packing services.

As well as installing a new SAP management system, the company now boasts two BRC standard temperature controlled clean rooms, a new fully automated bagging machine, and an automated boxing machine which is suitable for advent calendars and selection boxes.

Brian Cox, managing director, said: “As a direct result of our new systems, clean rooms and machinery we now for example deal with some of the leading confectioners in the business. With our fully racked-out warehouse and distribution capabilities, we aim to provide our customers with a full end-to-end service.”

Since being established in 2008, Codex Solutions offers contract packing, fulfilment services and logistics services, shrinkwrapping, flowwrapping, overwrapping, labelling, rework and fulfilment and distribution.

It handles a range of product types including food, cosmetics, toiletries, books and DVDs.
