Biggest Food Expo to Hit Cebu

NOW  running on its 8th installment, the Cebu Food and Beverage Expo or CEFBEX, remains committed in nurturing the region’s culinary scene one world-class exposition at a time. Happening on October 13 to 16, from 10am to 8pm at the SM City Cebu Trade Hall.

With an expected visitor count of 25,000 – CEFBEX 2016 seeks to deliver a more focused and dynamic food and beverage exposition. Occupying a total of 1,582 sqm of exhibition space, 130 of the region’s top F&B brands and companies will be showcasing innovative food products and other related technologies and equipment. Countless potential B2B and B2C opportunities are expected to flourish.

This year, CEFBEX invites food concessionaires, distributors, manufacturers, retailers, small and medium scale exporters and importers, and foodies alike. Compelling line-up of event highlights are the CEFBEX Culinary Cup: Home Chef, a culinary competition for non-professional home cooks across Cebu; CEFBEX Culinary Cup: Inter-School division, a series of competition for the region’s crop of up-and-coming talents in the culinary field; live cook-off and demonstrations by renowned chefs; a showcase of fresh and organic produce as presented by Cebu Farmers Market; and the CEFBEX free seminars which will feature topics ranging from food processing, food safety, franchising, coffee appreciation and more.
