Two ProAmpac sites achieve global safe quality certifications
2017-03-09 From:Packaging Strategies ProAmpac (proampac.com), a leader in global flexible packaging, announces its facilities in Westfield, MA and Hanover Park, IL have been awarded Level 2 Food Safety Management Certifications by the Safe Quality Food (SQF) Program. With prior certification of its Neenah, WI and Terrebonne, Quebec, operations, ProAmpac now has four large-scale manufacturing facilities Level 2 certified by the SQF program, a division of the Food Marketing Institute. SQF is recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative as well as retailers and foodservice providers around the world who require a rigorous, credible food safety management system. “By having multiple SQF certified facilities, ProAmpac offers customers redundant manufacturing scale at an exceptional value in a safe, controlled environment,” says chief commercial officer Adam Grose. “ProAmpac is committed to quality systems and certifications that support our customers’ growth and success." “As the requirements for food safety continue to grow, so does ProAmpac’s commitment to SQF certification,” states Rob Manning, vice president of quality for ProAmpac. “SQF certification is critical to ensuring our customers have an environment that produces safe products.
