IFFA 2010, the international trade fair for meat and meat processing industry, will be held from May 8 to13, 2010, in Frankfurt, Germany. The event is organised by Messe Frankfurt Exhibition GmbH. With around 908 exhibitors from 100 countries confirmed, IFFA is expecting to draw around 61,000 trade visitors similar to the previous years.

IFFA, the trade show for the global meat industry, will be the meeting place for all the people in the meat and meat processing industry worldwide, as it will offer a comprehensive overview of the latest technology, new marketing and sales strategies, and provide a networking platform for professionals from around the globe. The exhibiting companies would showcase machinery and plant for the entire process chain, from slaughtering, cutting-up and processing to packing, sales and butchers' requisites.

With an exhibitor and visitor profile that reflects the highly international nature of the market, IFFA has been one of the leading trade fairs for the meat industry for over 50 years now, held once in three years.

The range of products that exhibitors would exhibit include slaughtering technology, dismembering & processing equipment, facilities, accessories and tools for slaughtering, cutting and processing, roasting, baking and deep-frying equipment, weighing systems, refrigeration equipment, automation and handling equipment, foodstuff safety and quality management, specialist shop fittings and shop furnishings, transport and storing systems and products for catering and party services.
