TASTE to Host 4 Mega Shows
2010-02-10 "TASTE" to host 4 mega shows in Mumbai on Jan 28-30, 2010
Following the success of India International Wine Fair (IIWF) in 2009, Informa India and Paris-based ProMeeting, one of the leading event organisers across the world, has announced the launch of "TASTE 2010," a business focus trade exhibition for the food, drink and hospitality industries of the country. The event will take place on January 28-30, 2010, in Hall 5 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai.
"TASTE 2010 will showcase products from every corner of the world along with fresh ideas from India. Last time, along with IIWF 2009 we also organised a gourmet show for the Indian food industry. We are expecting over 3,000 visitors to visit TASTE 2010," Mel Shah, director of the event told Food & Beverage News. TASTE 2010 will encompass 4 mega shows - 2nd edition of IIWF and first edition of the India International Spirits Fair (IISF), the India International Food Fair (IIFF) and the India International Hospitality Fair (IIHF). The organisers said that each fair would host different conferences, workshops and interactive buyer sessions to offer visitors a diverse range of products from India and around the globe. In a recent buyer survey conducted by the organisers, in association with knowledge partners from the retail industry, it was found that buyers in India are most likely to visit TASTE to source new ideas to the market from both the international and national fronts. "We will be offering nation-based distinct pavilion for every participating country. This concept will help the visitors as well as exhibitors to reach out core and quick business," Shah added.
