There are five new ready to serve long life desserts in the range and are packaged in SIG’s combiblocStandard 500ml aseptic carton packs. The range comprises: Tesco Long Life Single Cream and Double Cream Alternative, Tesco Finest Custard, Tesco Finest Brandy Sauce and Tesco Finest Rum Sauce. Kerry Foods has been able to fill the new products on a single filling machine. According to SIG, this is made possible through its “flexible filling technology”. Cindy Haast, SIG Combibloc marketing manager Europe North, said: “Desserts packaged in our aseptic carton packs give the consumer important convenience, especially during the hectic festive period when fridges are often full to capacity.” Owen Gahan, operations manager at Kerry Foods added: “In our factory we apply the gentle aseptic process offered by SIG Combibloc, which guarantees high product quality and longer shelf life.”
