Premium Spanish water brand Solán de Cabras to launch in UK

Premium Spanish water brand Solán de Cabras will launch in the UK this summer, with the brand’s iconic blue bottle available in select retail stores and at a selection of luxury restaurants and bars from July.

The Mahou San Miguel-owned water brand features natural mineral water that has sprung from a single spring in the Cuenca hills in Spain for over 225 years, making the water pure and of high quality. The smooth, neutral taste of Solán de Cabras makes it the ideal beverage for both on-the-go consumption and as a table water, the brand added.

The lightly mineralised natural mineral water is positioned as an “ultimate hydration to keep the body healthy and strong”, with a low sodium and high magnesium content.

It has made regular appearances at Madrid and Barcelona Fashion Weeks, and is the official water of Real Madrid.

Solán de Cabras marketing director Beatriz Fernandez said: “As one of the leading water brands in the Spanish market, with over 300 bottles sold every minute in Spain last year, we’ve seen demand for the product increase across the world, including in the UK.

“Along with the product being stocked in bars and restaurants, working the likes of Marks & Spencer is an ideal way for us to reach our target audience and we’re currently in conversations with multiple other distributors across the UK.”

Solán de Cabras will be available to purchase at Marks & Spencer stores with a recommended retail price of £2 for a 75ml bottle. It will also be served at a selection of luxury restaurants, cafés and bars across the UK.
